Larry served as pastor of Myrtle Avenue Baptist (now Harvest Church) for ten years. While serving there a three bedroom, two bath home was built by the Kendals and a new education wing was completed. During the last year of service there, the church grew and they baptized twenty-seven people.
After leaving the Myrtle Ave. Church, Larry served as interim pastor of the Klamath Church for three months. In December of 1979 he began preaching at Trinity. They called him as pastor in February of 1980 and he has served as senior pastor since then. They moved into the 10,000 sq. ft. family life center (a temporary worship unit) on Easter of 1986. It was three years in construction and was paid for within six months of completion. (

Betty retired from teaching in 1999 and devotes her time to serving the church.
